Virtualised Critical Medicine and Pharmaceutical Production Servers: As a System Engineer at Roche's Mannheim research laboratory, I spearheaded the virtualization initiative, transitioning approximately 200 critical medicine and pharmaceutical production servers to virtualized environments. This involved meticulous planning, coordination with stakeholders, and implementation of cutting-edge virtualization technologies to ensure seamless operation while optimizing resource utilization and enhancing scalability. The successful virtualization of these servers significantly improved operational efficiency, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, ultimately contributing to the advancement of critical research and development efforts at Roche.

 

IT Management Across Multiple Factories: In my role as IT manager, I led a team of four professionals responsible for overseeing IT operations across five different factories spanning Spain. With approximately 500 employees and users relying on our IT infrastructure, I implemented robust systems and processes to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations. My current work:

Principal Release Manager for Worldwide Service: As the principal Release Manager for a global service catering to millions of TV users worldwide, I led the execution of zero downtime upgrades across six production platforms supporting over 80 different providers. Through meticulous planning, automation, and process optimization, I successfully reduced upgrade time by one third compared to previous cycles. This achievement not only ensured uninterrupted service delivery but also enhanced platform reliability, scalability, and agility, thereby meeting the evolving needs and expectations of users and stakeholders on a global scale.
