IEEE Young Professionals (YP) invites all IEEE Organization Units (OUs) to submit funding requests for events that positively impact young professionals like you. Any IEEE OU may submit funding requests, provided that the events directly and positively impact young professionals.

Funding categories, available amounts:

• Student Transition and Elevation Partnership (STEP): maximum US$ 500

• Local Activity Funding: maximum US$ 750

• Meet-up: maximum US$ 1500

Event funding applications are accepted in response to three (3) Call for Proposals Cycles. Funding applicants are expected to be aware of the timeline of each cycle. Below is the timeline for Cycle three (3):

• Call for proposal submission: 8 July 2023

• Deadline for proposal submission: 15 August 2023

• Result Announcement: 30 August 2023

• Duration given to organize projects: September–15 November 2023

• Deadline for report submissions: 20 November 2023

• Report evaluation period: November–December 2023

• Fund transfer: December 2023

Please note that applicants must obtain a qualified event endorsement in the form of a signed letter and attach it to their application(s). Event endorsement letters must be supplied in PDF format.

The deadline for Cycle Three (3) proposals is 15 August 2023.
